USB memory problem

Hi,

I have a problem with my usb memory. When I connect it, the system
detects it, mounts it and then appears the file navigator. But, when I
try to unmount or open from the desktop, it appears a message like
(the message is not in english) "you don't have enough permissions to
see the contents of XXXX".

I'm working in a NIS and NFS client.

Do you know what happen?
