It seems to be a recurring theme on several Linux groups to advocate
for a FAQ to deal with new people that ask the same old questions.
While I can sympathize with the frustrations that happen when
reading the same old  problems day in and day out, I have to say that
the personal touch is what has kept me with Ubuntu and not it's
features, most of which I don't seem to use with Icewm instead of
GNOME.  Like on the phone, I feel better when it's an actual
human answering me on lists and groups.   Perhaps the new folks who last
asked the questions would like to step up and answer them in their own
time and those who have given the same advice over and over could just
sit back and enjoy the fruits of their labors revealed.
