(Dapper) Confusion = hybrid GNOME & KDE

Are you sure you still don't have any KDE application, or
kubuntu-desktop, or any of the KDE/Kubuntu packages still installed?
I uses Dapper on a daily basis, upgrade it daily, and I can assure you
that it doesn't contain one KDE application (that I know of), and I
don't experience any of these Gnome/KDE "hybrid monster" behaviour you
see.
