New Live CD User: Can not connect isp with modem.

Hello,

I am on Fedora Core3 and my Us Robotics Sportster pci modem works
fine. My modem is recognized on ttyS14. When I boot up into the Ubuntu
Live Cd and use the graphical modem setup my options are /dev/modem or
/dev/S0 - /dev/S3. I have tried all settings but none work. The user
logs say:  ttyS14 at I/O 0xa000 (irq=18) is a 165501 Can anyone help
me?
