Actually, the Intel chip is quite a good for integrated 3d. It is the 
only one I know of (somebody please correct me if I'm wrong) that can 
run Warcraft3 smoothly. That's not saying much, but it does mean that it 
has more than your average integrated graphics card. Besides, this Intel 
chip is NOT NVidia so it would not run  the nv driver. It would run the 
mesa driver (I think).
