Is Ubuntu giving up on the PPC platform?

Hmm. Methinks we may have just solved the problem.

Note my yaboot.conf file's line[1]:

defaultos=macosx

Note the line you wrote in your e-mails:

default=macosx

Ta da :-) (hopefully ;-)

[1] I know my yaboot.conf works... Kubuntu/Ubuntu Dapper don't exactly
work but at least yaboot does ;-)
