It's only a technical point that you'll get loss from one lossy compression
to another lossy compression. For this type use, the conversion is wouldn't
be performed repeatedly, so the loss is only going to be performed once and
isn't so bad that you'll notice too much unless it's some professional
recording that needs to be preserved. If that were the case however, the
master would be saved as uncompressed audio.
