VMWare on Dapper ??

I am running the latest updated Dapper.  I just now
signed up and downloaded VMWare Workstation.

I have installed it without inciden, but when I
try to run it, I get an error message sort of like:

*** found glibc *** free() invalid pointer (some hex addrs) ****

Then the VMWare process hangs and can only be killed
with a -9.

I know this is not the VMWare list, but I would just
like to know if anyone is successfully using:

     VMWare Workstation on Dapper
