Newbie Preparing Dapper Flight 4 install.

I tried installing Breezy on my Sony Vaio desktop. The install went well
however, it froze after install on first boot.
I did not give up tho - I installed Flight4 last night and it all works.
Right down to the Intel HD sound card.

I love it!  So, two questions.

1. Can DF4 be upgraded to the official release? If so, please point to docs.
2. Had I stayed with Breezy, couldn't I have just booted DF4 LIVE and
copied off that kernel to the Breezy install
then boot and actually have Breezy working?

Please folks - bare with me. I have made a huge jump by dumping my
FreeBSD 6 install in favor of
Ubu. So far, I have not regretted it yet and I plan on keeping UBU on my
box.

Next, it will be onto my lappy, then my wife's PC.
