Hi Boyan, welcome inside the world of linux, take of your shoes and get
comfortable.

The other two posts have addressed your specific questions. I'd like to
say something a bit different. People who've used linux a bit know how
to do things and call often tell you how, but what I suggest is that you
just start clicking things and see what happens. For example the
information you got on how to install Konqueror is 100% correct, but
Ubuntu has made this even easier. Have you looked around the system and
found 'Add Applications'? That's the way to do things until you need
something which is not there (Yes konqueror is in there). Then, and only
then, do you go to synaptic. And when synaptic can't do what you want
you go to apt-get on the command line.

I'm not suggesting you don't try the more complicated things, I'm just
suggesting you should look at all the built-in easy ways of doing
things. Ubuntu will keep running, and you can always just reinstall if
you mess things up.

Two cautions:
1. 'just click on it' doesn't of course apply to any of your existing
files which have some value to you.
2. If you get asked for a password, make sure you are being careful and
reading everything, so you know what you're doing.

Without entering a password it's very hard, if not impossible, to do
your installation any damage.

Have fun.
