Thanks Colin. I have to admit that I don't really understand how
uploading of packages work. I monitor the dapper-changes list, but I
notice that the time it takes to actually see those packages/updates
available for download in the repositories, can vary greatly, from an
hour to 2 weeks (have a kernel update in mind I think).

That said, I have already other things to think about than Xgl and
Compiz, since I installed Flight 4 in the meantime, and gnome-panel
causes me serious trouble, and I fail to figure it out sadly :o(
Will probably have to revert back to Flight 3 (which worked fine), and
wait 2 hours to download and install what must probably be like 500MB of
updates ! ;-)
