If no one reported it, it will probably not have been fixed.

If you file a new report, it's seen by 'bug triagers' such as myself,
who will correct any errors you made in the report and make sure the
relevant developers get to see it.

Maybe someone else will step up. Not having a mac myself (and never
having heard of this bug before) I can't help much more than this.
