dapper + Xgl

Hi,

Just wanted to try Xgl, and it all installs nicely from universe and X 
comes up when restarting gdm.

But when I get to #6 (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/XglHowto) it says:

compiz.real: No composite extension

Anyone tried this and solved it?
