RealPlayer, etc.

OK I will just ask my questions here on the list instead of
the forums (although I would still be interested in getting
help with the forum issue... in particular does anybody know
how to contact a forum administrator without logging in the
the forum?
Anyway, here my current problems in setting up Ubuntu:
- I would like to get my browser to use RealPlayer to play
videos. I installed RealPlayer, but still both Firefox and
Opera use "mplayer". I looked in the browser options for
each browser and also in RealPlayer's options, but I can't
find how to do this. The reason I prefer RealPlayer is that
it has an option to play full screen ... it seems mplayer
has no way to do that.
- I cannot figure out how to get Opera into my Applications
menu. I can only run it from a shell prompt. I tried using
the "applications menu editor", but all it does is display a
"starting applications menu editor" message on the bottom of
the screen for a minute or so, which then disappears.
Thanks!
