Converting WMA8 to MP3 ??

Hi,

I would need some help in converting some songs. They are in WMA
(version 8) format, and I need them in MP3 (say 128Kbps ). It's not for
me actually, but for someone who wants to put these songs into one of
these fancy portable MP3 players, iPod and the gang. I suggested that
using OGG would be best, but I suppose his MP3p player is, well, an MP3
player and nothing more, hum.

There probably is some handy command line tool(s) that could convert
that for me ? :-)
