Override DHCP assigned DNS

My DHCP server sends an invalid searchdomain and nameserver, so after
each reboot I have to manually edit /etc/resolv.conf. Strangely, these
settings work ok on my windowz boxes.

I've tried making resolv.conf immutable, but that seems to hang the
networking init script after a reboot. Aside from switching to static IP
settings, does anyone know how to overried DHCP assigned DNS?

Thanks,
Jason O'Connell
