SATA cards for CD drives, suggestion ??

Ah, that's bad news then, looks like I won't be able to use my drive
until a year or two at least,the time for SATA chips and drivers to
mature a bit. I never imagined that there were so few SATA devices
outside hard drives, I hope this will change soon so that cheap generic
cards all have flawless optical drive support ASAP.
