I'm only using the onboard 6100 graphics, it has
decent enough 3D for my purposes.  What happens is
that Kubuntu 64 (5.10) installs ok, but then when
booting X fails to load so you're left at a console
prompt.  From there you can install the nvidia 8174
driver from the nvidia website.  It has a complete
installer.  Note that you do need to install the
kernel headers for this.
