Note that esddsp is part of the esound-clients package - I don't think
that it is installed by default, so you are likely to get a "command not
found" error.
Easily fixed by installing the "esound-clients" package though. (It's only
about 35KB or so ) You might wnat to edit your menu entry to add esddsp in
front of audacity so you don't have to run it from the terminal , as well.
