I have 2 very old machines, one using p2-600 and one with a celeron 
500.  On BOTH machines, breezy will not function properly!  The solution 
for me was Hoary.  Hoary worked great.  I don't know why breezy doesn't 
but it just flat doesn't.

OH, and also used ext2 for file type NOT ext3
