Yes, it does work on a MacOS X system, and it also works fine on an
Ubuntu 5.10 system. I just came back home, plugged it into the system,
and it automounted just fine:

$ mount | grep TRAVEL
/dev/sdb1 on /media/TRAVELDRIVE type vfat
(rw,nosuid,nodev,quiet,shortname=winnt,uid=1000,gid=1000,umask=077,iocharset=utf8)

So, for some reason, it only fails on the Ubuntu 5.04 system at work,
even though the device is recognized and I can run 'parted' on it. Not
sure what's going on here.
