Hi,
I found a way to boot Dapper without recreating the VM.
I found a site giving some useful tips for manipulating virtual disks
:
http://sanbarrow.com/vmx-disks-tips1.html
So i replaced this line in my VM's vmx file :
Code:
--------------------
scsi0.virtualDev = "lsilogic"
--------------------
by :
Code:
--------------------
scsi0.virtualDev = "buslogic"
--------------------
Then I rebooted the VM. VMware noticed the changes and asked if I
wanted to change the SCSI adapter. I said Yes and Dapper booted fine
:-)
Hope it helps.
