Minolta PagePro 1300

Hi,

Has anyone been able to get this printer (Minolta PagePro 1300) working in
Ubuntu? I have tried, but no luck. Ubuntu does not see the printer. I tried
downloading the driver from Linuxprinters.org but it has made know
differance. If you bypass the detection and do a manual install, everything
appears to be OK but when you try to print a test page, nothing happens.

If this printer cannot be made to work, can anyone recommend a laser printer
in this price range that will work.
