pl2303 module

Hi there, 

How to make sure that pl2303 module loaded? 
How to check udev configuration if it creates the devices?

If the pl2303 module not loaded what should i do to make it loaded?
Should i recompile my kernel (2.6.12) ? If so, what is the step and syntax to recompile my kernel with pl2303 module?

Note:
The pl2303 is needed to handle USB DKU-5 Cable for connection to Nokia 3120.
My lsmod didn't contain pl2303

The USB core handled by (this some from my lsmod)
