Yes, you will need a 2.6.15 kernel as I said above.  You can get that 
from dapper(I would backport but you could just upgrade to dapper).  
Then youll need to go to http://bcm43xx.berlios.de/ and download and 
compile the driver.  Like I said, not for the faint of heart but doable 
and it seems to work alright.  I would go with the svn checkout and just 
follow the readme in trunk/driver and then do a 'make && sudo make 
install'.  After that you should have a working airport extreme driver.
