True, but the FOR COST *nix systems are for servers or your paying for
support (not the OS). Desktop *nix OS's are ALL FREE and as far as I know
this is not a SERVER ORIENTED LIST.

But I guess I should have clarified that a little better, huh?

agreed, (more people should be aware of the MicroSoft-Tax..)

however, "any flavor of *nix" should be "any flavor of open source
unix-alikes" (there is still "commercial *nix" around not costing $0)
