Busy doing the same here.. For creating a Linux Virtual Server. Anyone
have got IPVS to work properly?
I get lvsadmin installed - I insert the required modules into the
kernel, so lvsadmin runs without problems. However, it does not work
properly (still trying to figure out what the problem is at tcpdump
level).
What does work is doing the basics of what IPVS does using iptables -
i.e. pure NAT as a reverse proxy. But then that is without any froody
load sharing.
