File transfer problems with gaim and amsn

Im no expert by any means, but from what I understand any version before
2.0(which is in beta I think right now...) doesnt support file
transfers.  I think that once 2.0 comes out it will work fine and you
shouldnt have any problems, but might wanna double check that on the
gaim site.   I have had problems transfering files as well, and this is
what I had been told.  HTH,
