Thanks, Dave. I did not run wmware-config.pl, rather I'm trying to
learnt to work with the config file. And somehow, I did it- I got
internet, usb, and the cfrom working in under day. With no prior
experience on this thing and I'm a complete linux noob. Hats off to
VMWare for this- it really is easy to use and set up. It also works
very well.

Thanks. Like said, I made the changes in the config file. But I will
