The problem is a chicken-and-egg issue.  How do you mount the ISO to
boot from if you haven't booted an OS already?

As other have mentioned, it's possible with virtual machine stuff, but,
honestly, that wouldn't really give you the experience of running a live
distro, so it would defeat the purpose, I think.
