I found a old deb for sitar and ran it, very slick package.
and discovered why its not included in any deb distros.

On the bottom of the page generated there is a copyright "SUSE".
hup ho.

The dpkg way is showed is more efficient for packaging purposes anyway, debian usefulness rules!
