Untitled Windows put up by Firefox

Folks,

I am still running 5.10 Ubuntu and have noticed that every few days 
Firefox (1.0.8) will launch an untitled window while viewing CNN.COM. 
When I close that window it also closes all open windows in Firefox that 
I have up, exiting the application. Is this a problem caused by using 
CNN or just a bug/feature of Firefox?
