Ubuntu as server for small school?

Chris, I think in this case, you should not see it as a school install
(educational use), but more as a small office install (productivity for
collegues).



David, this is possible in windows, so it should be possible by using
(ed)ubuntu. You'll have to configure you're server machine as a Domain
Controller which hosts the user profiles. I'm sorry but I'm to fresh to
Linux myself to be of any use for the practical part of it. But I'm
going to follow this topic myself, as I'm thinking of converting a
small office to Ubuntu Server/desktops myself.
