for several years I tried all the editors I could find.
I settled on a text editor for html, a text editor for css and firefox
to see what I have done. I find no problem moving between the three
programs (sometimes using diff. workspace for each). It is fast,
powerful and I am not concerned with what changes have been made in the
latest version of the software.
Any editor is OK. I also like Bluefish, Arachnophilia and Screem. CSSED
is pretty good if you want some help with CSS. I have used NVU and it is
not bad if you use the source mode and switch back to normal or preview
to see what the code produces. The problem with any WYSIWYG is that
they will try to "help" in too many situations.
