Bottom Bar

Just right-click on an empty area of the TOP panel (you still have that
one right ?! ;o), and select "New panel". It should create a new panel
("bar") at the bottom of the screen. 
The panel will be blank/empty though, so you will need to put all the
applets by hand, to suit your needs. Takes only a few second to do
though, don't panic ! ;-)
