At the top by the search bar, locate the 'Create a filter' link and click on
it.
In the yellow box that appears, type ubuntu-users at lists.ubuntu.com in the
To: field and click Test search.
You should see a bunch of Ubuntu-users e-mails show up. If you do then
you're set to go. Click Next Step >>.

The yellow box updates to show a choice of actions to perform when Gmail
finds an e-mail to ubuntu-users at lists.ubuntu.com. Tick 'Skip the inbox
(Archive it)' if you don't want ubuntu-users to clutter your inbox. Tick
'Apply the label:' and in the drop down combobox, choose 'New label...' and
enter something like 'Ubuntu Users'.

Click Create Filter.
Done!
