Audio volume too low on HP dv1000 with Totem movie player

That's interesting, I've got the same problem with my HP dv8000 series
laptop. Is it only DVD's, or other things as well. For me it's worst
with DVD's but also pretty low with other media. I've just thrown a CD
in and I have to have everything on full to get an acceptable bit of
music to enjoy...
Could you swing by https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/HPDV1000
and see if you have anything to add to the performance report there for
the HP dv1000?
Please file a bug on this and post the link here, I'll go in and comment
and ask at LaptopTestingTeam to see if they have any ideas.
