Despite my passing it on the 1st day it was available in my area, LPI
still lists my exam as "Unknown" (they evidently have not added it to
the database)



I emailed them over a week ago about the oversight, and they finally
came back with this:

Thank you for your email.



We appreciate you letting us know of the glitch in the database

regarding this matter.  We are in the process of changing it.  Once it

is changed you will see the number 199 to represent the Ubuntu exam.

"



Suffice it to say I am pretty underwhelmed by the delivery of this exam
and certification.
