X Error of failed request: BadAtom. Major opcode of failed request: 17 (X_GetAtomName)

I'm running Ubuntu 5.10 "Breezy Badger", and am applying all
the updates pushed to me.   "dpkg -p xserver-xorg-core" says
"Version: 6.8.2-77".  Lately, I've been seing a lot of X errors like this:

X Error of failed request:  BadAtom (invalid Atom parameter)
  Major opcode of failed request:  17 (X_GetAtomName)
  Atom id in failed request:  0x0

This was while running wine from cvs.  Now, this could be wine's fault, too.

Is the right thing to do to track this down "install dapper drake flight 5"
and see if it goes away?  I bet it is; I just want some reassurance that
other folks are using flight 5 and finding it stable enough for daily work.
(I'm a developer, and I'm not at all scared of test releases, really.)
