If you have a direct connection have you looked under System >
Administration > Networking. Modems are in there too.

Yes and no, if you want linux games then fire up synaptic, add universe
and multiverse and select the category 'games'. if you want linux games
see http://www.winehq.com/ , http://appdb.winehq.org/

if thats not enough see http://www.transgaming.com/
