Gnome Terminal question

I've just realised that it's possible it might be related to how gtk is
 coded (I think both Gnome Terminal and Bluefish use it)

In Bluefish, clicking on a tab when you bring it to the front does give
you a cursor, but if you click the same tab a second time, the cursor
disappears :)
