Solution to "cannot burn CD on ATAPI/IDE CD-R/W" (Breezy/Dapper-pre)

I just reported a bug on 'module-init-tools' in hopes that this can be
fixed for everyone, in case many others are experiencing it.

I could not burn a CD on my ATAPI/IDE CD-R/W drive until I performed the
following steps:

 sudo su -
 rmmod sg
 echo 'blacklist sg' > /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-sg
 logout

I tested with Nautilus, and it works perfectly now.
