Don't know if this helps, but most mail gateways I've played with that do that
sort of "signature adding frufru" can be configured to omit it under certain
circumstances. My mail gateways (which run MailScanner -
www.mailscanner.info) are set up to never add signatures to messages
addressed to known lists or if the message is digitally signed.
You might be able to tweak it on either/both criteria - although I haven't
played with the Barracuda kit. YMMV.
