tpb is a program for Thinkpads that watches for certain bits changing in
/dev/nvram and pops up on-screen notifications (with xosd) when you
change things like LCD brightness or the volume. It can also run
external programs when some hardware buttons are pressed.
Dapper's hotkey-setup conflicts with tpb, because it took over over
watching /dev/nvram for hardware button presses.
Is there a replacement for tpb's on-screen-display part?
