[Dapper] video regressions from Breezy (vlc)

Anyone noted regressions in Dapper (Flight 5, but that was also the case 
in Flight 4), that is video playing isn't as smooth as in Breezy, with 
the picture freezing for a few fractions of a second quite often?
I'm using vlc, and the same video files plays perfectly well under 
Breezy. Under Dapper, the problem appears with all kind of video formats.
