[Dapper] video regressions from Breezy (vlc)

While I still haven't found one player that works with everything I
throw at it, it seems that at least one of totem (gstreamer), vlc or
gxine will work in Dapper with the videos I need to watch.  But which
one of the 3 is is highly dependent of the actual video.

But that's only if universe+multiverse are enabled, and I have
installed all the codecs available in the official repositories:

libxine-extracodecs
gstreamer0.10-plugins-good
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly
gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly-multiverse
gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad-multiverse
gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg
