No, I'm implying that the average desktop user would not install
leafnode, pure-ftpd or similar services.
/I/ would, and I guess you would too, but there's no need to install
a service that isn't needed by the average user, by default. If those
services are required by the user, presumably xinetd or similar will be
installed as a dependency.
