Somewhat related to the above: what would be the prospects with pcmcia "card" modems for laptops, such as those that used to be made USRobotics/Megahertz, and which can often be picked up used for next to nothing? (AFAIK these are not winmodems, but real "hardware" modems). tia, Mark W.
