this didn't work for me (dapper livecd beta2) ... I still have tooltips
everywhere... for example, I hover around "workspaces" (right bottom
corner) and I get a handful of "switch between workspaces", "workspace
1", "workspace 2" etc. I guess they've gone really overboard. 

is there another way to disable them?



PS. the way I used was: uncheck /apps/panel/global/tooltips_enabled in
gconf...
