Ubuntu provides the Debian packages many other people use, including
me on my desktop machine. There's no such bug. Without further
information about your LaTeX code we can only guess what's going
wrong. The right place to ask is the newsgroup comp.text.tex or a
language specific group (e.g. fr.comp.text.tex). And don't forget to
supply a minimal example[1]! If you are not familiar with the Usenet
supply the minimal example here. I'm very confident that your
problem is solved til friday :-).
